Deep-dives, real-world stories, and the hallway-track conversations you'll
remember for years. AWS User Group Bengaluru is back for the most awaited
edition yet.
AWS User Group Bengaluru is a volunteer-driven group of developers, architects,
and AWS evangelists. We meet to share best practices, discuss upcoming features,
and trade real-world stories from production.
AWS Community Days are community-organized cloud education events featuring
technical discussions and demos led by expert AWS users and industry leaders
from around the world.
From Buckets to Brains: 20 Years of AWS Workloads and the Agentic Decade Ahead
Twenty years ago, an Amazon S3 bucket and an EC2 instance turned capital expenditure into an API call and quietly rewired how software gets built. This keynote isn't a birthday party — it's a working engineer's map of how the brains moved into the cloud: from static websites and image buckets to microservices, serverless event meshes, ML pipelines, and now autonomous, multi-agent systems.

Agentic AI
AWS Agentic Football Cup
In this hands-on workshop you'll build AI agents that compete against each other in simulated football matches. It's a gamified, practical way to learn agentic AI.
Under the hood, you'll build production-grade agents with Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and the Strands Agents SDK. You'll coordinate a team of agents that read the live match state and decide their next move in about a second — real, hands-on practice with agent reasoning, tool use, and low-latency decision-making on AWS.
You'll design, build, and tune your own agents, then send them onto the pitch to play other attendees' agents and walk away with practical, hands-on experience of Amazon Bedrock AgentCore and Amazon Bedrock.

AI Search
Building AI Search and Agentic Workflows with Elasticsearch, Jina, and A2A
This hands-on workshop demonstrates how to build AI-powered search and agentic workflows using Elasticsearch, Jina.ai, ES|QL, and A2A. Participants will configure inference endpoints, test embedding and reranking models, upload files for vector search, explore semantic text fields, and build retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) workflows.
The session also covers multilingual semantic search with Jina.ai and ES|QL, followed by building and interacting with Elastic AI Agents. Participants will inspect an A2A agent card and communicate with the agent using A2A, learning how to connect search, context retrieval, and agentic AI experiences.

AI-DLC
Architecting the AI-DLC for the organization
Everything we traditionally practiced in the SDLC is no longer enough. AI coding assistants deliver remarkable individual velocity, but scaling that speed to a team — and to an entire organization — is an enterprise transformation. This workshop presents a comprehensive blueprint for an AI-Driven Software Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC): a framework designed to harness AI speed without compromising security, quality, or maintainability.
We go beyond tools to the processes and people too — defining the layers of context (workload, team, organization, individual) and how to govern them, preventing context rot and context poisoning, and contributing back to a collective knowledge base at scale. We question whether agile and two-week sprints still fit an AI-native world, and reshape workflows as the pressure shifts from writing code to reviewing it — and further left, to discovery and ideation.
We also confront the hard edges: deep architectural vulnerabilities and technical debt, catastrophic failure modes, and the new security exposure introduced by ready-to-use skills, MCPs, and plugins. Finally, we establish how leadership can measure what actually matters — distinguishing flow metrics from tension metrics, avoiding gameable vanity metrics like lines of code or PR counts, and measuring true ROI as model and tooling costs keep rising.

Game Day
AWS GameDay
AWS GameDay is a hands-on, gamified, team-based learning experience where you troubleshoot and build in a live AWS environment. This edition features two quests:
Uniflix Backend with New Relic Quest
Uniflix, an ambitious streaming platform, has migrated their backend to a microservices architecture, but the cracks are showing. You have joined as new hires tasked with using New Relic to diagnose issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes across the Uniflix backend. You will work hands-on with New Relic features such as APM & Services, AI Monitoring, Distributed Tracing, Alerts, Dashboards, and more to restore order.
HashiCorp Terraform Quest
Participants learn Infrastructure as Code (IaC) fundamentals using HashiCorp Terraform to deploy and manage a web application on AWS. You will configure remote state management, troubleshoot deployment issues, provision cloud resources, set up monitoring, and apply Terraform best practices.
Hands-on experiences before and during the conference. Pick the ones that
match your day, add them to your schedule, and we'll see you there.
